The Black or Witch's Mirror

Known as a scyring mirror, a black mirror or the Witch's mirror; it is a valuable tool for divination and self-discovery.

Like all methods of divination, it has to be approached with caution, intelligence and intent. Tossing out the old "Is there a tall,dark stranger?" in my future is asking for trouble.

Looking through a glass, darkly, is never the smart thing to do. Looking through the dark glass, with intent and intelligence is a terrific way to level yourself or to help someone else attain some balance in their lives.

You may get tired of ready this but too bad. Intent. Your intent is the single, most important characteristic to be applied to any form of divination or meditation.

The black mirror or any type of scrying takes practice. It take perseverance and patience. It may take one or two tries or it may take 10 or 15. It depends on you. Your approach, your state of mind and yes, your intent. If your intent is unclear or clouded, so will the images you see. If your intent is selfish or foolish? That's what you will end up with - selfish and foolish imagery. Shallow, without meaning.
